We interrupt your regularly scheduled blogging for a PSA...
Yes I know I haven't updated in forever and I do have LOTS to say (when don't I?) but I REALLY need your help folks!
As you know AIDS Walk LA is coming up in October, the weekend of my bday, the 14th and since I can't go this year I promised to help out pekeana in doing the Blogathon 2005 to help raise money for Team Spencer! :) It takes place TOMORROW the 6th thru Sunday the 7th from 9AM-9AM EST which is 6AM-6AM my time. Becky and I will be up for 24 hours blogging in our lj jseb_blog2005 every half hour and your job is to sponsor us to keep going for the whole 24 hours. You may even wanna watch the blogging, I promise it will be entertaining as Becky and I get drunk on little to no sleep. *g*
Did that make ANY sense? Basically I'm trying to help raise money for Team Spencer since I can't go to the walk and raise money THAT way. SO please help me out!
Check out JSEB BLOG 2005 for all the details. If you wanna donate directly you can always go to Aids Walk.Net and look for TEAM SPENCER and sponsor us that way. Our goal is $1500 and we're about halfway there. You can sponsor at any time up till Oct. 13th which is when the walkers will be leaving for their weekend in LA.
So please guys, help us out. Rasing money for AIDS research and treatment has always been a cause that I have supported throughout the years. When I was younger I used to do LA AIDS Walk and when I was in CKI I volunteered to help out at OC AIDS Walk. So this means ALOT to me and I'd appreciate any help you could give! Thanks.
