AAARRRRGGGGHHH

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!
so work has been pretty stressful lately, lots of people sick,
more doctors than ever and lots and lots of work.
Add to that that the practice manager has been sick for the start of this week, mucho stresso.
So today at around 6.30pm my manager asks to talk to me,
while 3 phones were ringing two people at the desk and three doctors handing me things that had to absolutely be done right NOW! with no one else to help.

What did she want, well to ask why the appointment book for 1 doctor had been changed and given a few breaks, as he had a gp trainer coming in, i said i was sorry but i wasn't sure what was happening and had to put some breaks in which was normally what happened and start booking patients so he would have patients while said assessor was in the building. And she wasn't there so i just went ahead and did it.
She went on to say that a note was in the communication book and i should have remembered. I appologised again and said i was sorry but it was getting a bit hard to remember everything with all the extra work, i was doing the best i could and i just did what i thought would be best. having very little time available to sort this.
Essentially what ensued was me being told off for not having remembered a note that was in a book over a month, and her going off that she couldn't talk to every person reminding them everything that was in the book etc blarg blarg blarg after which she went home. Leaving me feeling exceptionally pissed off and wanting to blow work off.
I travel an hour each way to work to do a job which is largely unappreciated deal with aggressive and often abusive clients, while working with 3 less staff than normal, keep the doctors happy, keep as many of clients happy and fix the computer and printers and answer all the questions of the numerous under 19 year old staff.
so AAERRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH
I'm sick of this and I'm going to find a new job, screw them i'm sick of this s#$%t.
The only question is whether to keep working in the field with the excessively annoying phone calls and patients which i can do fairly well or to try something new.
