New house blah...
Back from my weekend in my new house. General sorting out, desperately trying to find replacements for the vile curtains in my room, opening a can of tomatoes with a hacksaw and a bottle opener and a pair of pliars because we hadn't bought a tin-opener, that sort of thing. I went to Wilkinsons three times on Saturday, which took up most of the day, then my flatmate brought her hamster, Monkey, round from her old house and went off out for a meal with her parents. Monkey objected to being left in a small plastic box and pushed it off the table in a desperate bid for freedom while I was in the bath. And some people down the road seem to derive far too much enjoyment from revving the engine of their red Mazda. But apart from that, everything is good. We have a phoneline, so hopefully soon we will also have teh internets! May one day post pics of house if anything interesting ever happens there.
