Major Tom. // A Flicker of Hope.

Apr 26, 2020 22:16

With one word. You destroyed my world. It seems it was never mine to hold. There is hole in my heart. An open door to my soul. A gaping void. A silent scream. A silent storm. Who's at the door? What am I letting in? I keep the light on and the curtains up. But there is no ship for this berth, no plane for this field. A tiny flicker of a candle on a top of the cliff. Why am I keeping it up? From the darkness we come, to the darkness we go. Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. David Bowie was right. Ground Control is silent, Major Tom is gone. "I'm stuck with a valuable friend." "I'm happy. Hope you're happy, too."
