Universe is a Rubik’s Puzzle. // History Will Teach Us Nothing.

When I was about 9 or 10 - someone gave me a Rubik cube.

I kept working it, even read “Science and Life” magazine - to grasp the theory.

Never managed.

Disassembled the cube, using a screwdriver…

It was fascinating inside…

The strangely shaped axels,

The spherical shape of the internal cavity,

The little outside cubical segments, with the asymmetrical “legs” on the other end that translated the cube shape into the sphere,

The way it held together even with some segments removed,

The way it was difficult to pry open at first, and how I learned how to do it later in one swift motion…

How easily it would snap back into shape.

Seemingly unchanged.

I put it back together, scrambled it again.

Tried and tried, then disassembled again.

Telling, isn’t it?
