Day 5 on Maui
Yesterday, indieradiochic and I made the trip around the South end of the island. The really cool thing about Maui is how it has many distinct climates. From desert to rainforest. Anyway, it was about a 5 hour drive all the way around. Lots of winding roads, much of it one lane, a good stretch of it was dirt and horrible old concrete. Even in the two lane section pretty much every corner was a blind one lane turn with "yield to oncoming traffic" signs. The signs were fine but you couldn't see the oncoming traffic to yield to it.
