Subsidiary question: Why can't I learn to accurately predict the length of my stories?
Current darling: "I'm not interested in dessert." Smoky look, husky tone, and Peter melted into him, wrapping his lithe body around Mohinder and allowing himself to be half-carried, half-dragged, fully kissed to bed. - Because Mohinder's inner monologue is wry.

The 'montage' which is really a series of mini-scenes more than a montage, but it's still working more like a montage than my usual writing, is edging toward 2000 words. But! I'm almost half-done with it, and I'm about to start the second sex scene in it. For me, getting one sex scene done in 2000 words is kind of a miracle, two will be a world fucking record. Hooray!
As it turns out, moonmelody and I are even crazier than previously indicated. Steve Carlson's playing two gigs in LA this coming week: Sunday at LScorpion and Tuesday at Hotel Cafe. We're staying in LA to go to both!
Also, Jess bought tickets for us for Dallas (*kisses her all up*), October 5th, so we get to hang with our girl annkiri (and awesome fangirls wrenlet and wendy!)and we're going to Nashville, w00t! So excited I could puke. :)
Downside to this weekend's travel: not watching the premiere with the beloved RealSpouse, kaseido. This is more sad than you think. We watch a lot of TV together. It's kind of a ritual.
Upside to this weekend's travel (besides Jess hang-time and STEVE and Jason OMG): Heroes Season Premiere Party with my girl just_katarin in our hotel room! w00T!
