I am greatly amused to find that I visit the Men's sites far more frequently than the women's.

This might interest you:
Currently working on a paper discussing overturning laws prohibiting certain sexual behaviors and the placement of sexual behavior in the realm of the private. What that means is I finally get to read all the supreme court opinions Lawrence v. Texas, Bowers v. Hardwick, New York v. Ferber, and Roe v. Wade. Scalia's dissent on LvT is enraging and excellent for paper-writing fuel!

oh! that is interesting! also, oh god does sex research need competent people in it, we studied compulsive sexual behavior in addictions and it was wretched. It made me wish I had found a way to thesis about sex just to do something productive in this super impoverished field.

Dare I ask what the research was showing? Or how dated/flawed the research was?

More flawed than life itself. I don't recall specifics I think things like small sample sizes, leading questions, bad measures, unreliable measures. I could go look it up but bleh.
