Personality:Jianliang has been quiet and reserved from a young age, more often interested in games and technology rather than people. Coming from a large family, he's been overshadowed by his older brother and sister, but at the same time he is protective of his little sister Shuichon to the point of refusing to allow her to follow him when he goes outside. There's a lot of sibling rivalry in the Li family, and Jianliang had to grow up competing with Rinchei and Jaarin, which was part of the reason for his pent-up anger before he began taking Tai Chi.
Jianliang believes that violence doesn't solve anything, and by letting his anger out through his training he has retained that philosophy. The only time when he will actually use force is only if absolutely necessary, and that is a rare occurrence. He's considerate enough of other people and tries not to be reckless, oftentimes calming his mind and thinking things through rather than charging straight ahead to face his problems.
His intelligence and affinity with machinery seems to have been passed down to him from his father Jiangyuu, who is a genius in his own right but lacking in powers. Jianliang tries not to ask anybody for help or advice, preferring to stand on his own rather than inconvenience people with his worries. He's a little nervous when approaching people for the first time or being approached by someone new. This also makes it hard for him to interact with people and make friends, though once he gets to know and knows he can trust someone, he will remain steadfast friends with them for a long time.

Born into a family of six in Nede, Deningrad, Jianliang was raised around an ecclectic assortment of technology. His father Jiangyuu a technical genius and his mother Mayumi a stay-at-home housewife, Jianliang was a quiet, reserved young lad, oftentimes losing himself in games of skill and challenge for hours on end, always happy to receive a new toy whenever his father came home from an out of town trip. His pacifistic nature meant that Jianliang was often teased by other local boys his age, and it wasn't until after he started retaliating out of restrained anger did he begin taking Tai Chi lessons under a retired instructor.
This helped Jianliang to not only let his anger out, but it also helped in manifesting his power. His technopathy surfaced when he was eight years old, long after his elder brother Rinchei and his sister Jaarin had manifested theirs when they were younger. He had been sitting by simply watching Jiangyuu trying to fix a complicated piece of technology. When Jiangyuu stepped out of the room to get a drink, all it took was for one touch of Jianliang's fingertips and he knew what the problem was. When Jiangyuu came back to find it fixed, young Jianliang simply replied "All I did was touch it."
Over the next couple of years, his father and mother tried to support Jianliang in learning about his power. Jiangyuu brought home piece after piece of technology and each of them he managed to fix. There was only one that he could never do so, however, and it seemed that its problem was too complicated, even for two technical geniuses like himself and his father. A letter arrived for Jianliang when he turned 12 from Estrasia Academy, inviting him to learn about his powers. His parents were all for the idea, and sent him away to do so. He wants to study hard so that when he can go back home, he can finally fix that problematic piece of machinery.
Appearance: Stands at roughly 5"1' with short blueish-black hair, soft grey eyes and olive skin.
He usually wears clean-cut clothing, sticking closely to school regulations. He typically wears green and other earthy-type colours, aside from his jeans.
