Ooo bet you didn't expect an update for a while...

Ahhh so I'm back obviously now. I love it though which is good, but then again it was a Saturday and classes have not started yet...I cannot believe I have 8:50 class this week...I will die, no joke. I've been sleeping in ridiculously late most days. Except for today, the one day I have nothing to do and could sleep all day. But no. Our room is just so stuffy and dusty, even though I was a dusting machine yesterday with my swiffer wipes. I just couldn't sleep and woke up about a zillion times last night. I even went to bed by 1 last night too. Oh well. I'll just nap everyday. :)

Anyway, yesterday was a ton of fun, I must say. I got to La Crosse at about 12:30 and bascailly just sent my parents driving back right away. I just didn't feel like going to lunch with them or doing anything but unpacking and relaxin' for a bit. So I said goodbye, unpacked a little, then went to watch the alumni race with some cross country people. Pretty much the entire girls cc team was watching the race luckily, which was fun, and it was an interesting meet to watch indoors. We saw a lot of the guys try out for spots on the track team, and then I saw Dylan's relay race. That kid is mad fast, it was insane. I figured out I couldn't run his pace for a 400 in a 100 even. Then I went back to my dorm after and finished unpacking at hung out w/ my friend Caitlin.

After unpacking and such, we left for our dining center...and were 3rd in line for the doors to open at 4:30. It was so funny, we were starving. Then the rest of the cross country and track people came at that time too and it was just fun. Afterwards we walked to The Pearl, this ice cream place downtown which has amazing homemade ice cream. Capaccino Oreo was amazing, I must say. Then we walked back, and I hung out with Dylan for a bit at his house, and talked for a while with him and his new roommate whos from his hometown apparently and they've been friends since like preschool. It was fun, and then I got guitar lesson number two, except this time on an electric one. I'm an electric guitar natural apparently.

After hanging out for a bit, I went to this party at one of the cross country houses with Dylan and a bunch of other people. It was pretty boring actually and Dylan and I were awkwardly just standing up against this wall watching beer pong, which really isn't that fun to watch after a while. We were going to be partners, but the lineup was a little long so we just gave up. I've never played anyway. I did manage to drink a little though, but just because I was stupid and opened this random beer someone handed Dylan but he didn’t want and it foamed and then I tried to drink the foam and then I didn’t want it but felt bad that I opened it so I just drank it. I had some other random stuff too and felt the effects a little but was no where near being bad, so it was fine. Then I walked Dylan home since he was meeting another friend later and then I went over to a friends’ apartment and started watching Kicking and Screaming with some people. But we got like 20 minutes into it and somehow everyone from the cc party piled in there and were all drunk and loud and this guy Paul sat right next to me and started complaining about how he didn’t make the track team and some drunk girl called him 12 or something. I was so sick of everyone that I was like and…I’m going home to sleep. So I came back and was asleep by 1 am.

Then today I got up, showered, went to breakfast, and got my books with my 2 neighbors which went faster than I expected. I have 10 books though…..yuck. I’m not looking forward to my classes this semester at all. Now I’m just being lazy again. But I brought my skis over to Dylans since they’re just in my way here and he has a garage, so that was minorly productive. He wants to go on a bluff hike later with me, but a. its cold out and b. I’m lazy and bluff hikes are difficult hikes. Seriously. But we’ll see I guess. Its fun to hang out with him again, even though I still don’t know what we are. Oh well. Maybe its better that we’re not anything.

I’m off to laziness again. Later.
