(no subject)
Damnit. I'm beginning to hate my wifi card. Ok, so this has been an ongoing back and forth relationship, leading to great furstration. So I'm thinking about looking into some decent PCMCIA wifi cards with an external and internal antenna. Rather, one of the flip up ones. Meaning, with a few bucks more, I can get some sort of signal booster and not worry about the damned signal being lost at MSU.
So today was pretty fantabulous. Got up semi-early. I realized, I like semi-early, because semi-early is still later than getting up for Butcher or even work/class this year. About an hour later in fact. Then I ventured, with Erika, to PetsMart and Home Depot. Egg crate has got to be the single most expensive thing, given that it serves a relatively low purpose on the tank. There could have been several ways around what we did but anyways.
Then began the task of moving all of the inhabitants from our 40gal to the 150gal aquarium. Fun stuff. 3.5-4 hours of salt layering on my skin, the task was complete. All went well, and though I though we lost some zoanthids in the move, I found them, hiding behind some frag plugs in the sump. Whoppeeee. I'll post some pictures when we're dont light-acclimating the corals and anemone, and the pictures actually will come out. Right now, its like having a 10W lightbulb over a 6' tank.
