So, for those of you who don’t know my family, we’re usually pretty sane. -Ish. If you’ve ever seen You Can’t Take It With You, we’re a slightly less eccentric version of the Sycamore family. We’ve had some problems, sure, but who hasn’t? And really, if you’re not on my level of crazy, well, then, you’re the one who’s just a little disturbed, wot?

You put it out there, so I'm going to comment.

Reading this without any personal history beyond the text above, I have to tell you, you come off as the instigator and the one to throw the first punch.

There is some truth to what your sister (?) is saying. She shouldn't have to alter her immediate world (and for a younger gen that includes social networks) because of your brother's failings to move on and his social- emotional handicaps. He's a big boy and if he has issues he needs to deal with them, she shouldn't be to blame for his stalking his ex through someone else's Fbook page.

THere also seems to be pent up issues between you and your sister that caused you to go straight to her jugular in your text. Which she responded to with an equally, if not more, vicious text. People do this when they feel threatened and you did provoke her by using some really offensive language, too.

I think you both just let your reactions get the best of you. And you obviously have a lot of resentment towards your sister for whatever reasons. It seems it's mutual. I honestly don't get why you would feel victimized by her words to the extent that you are saying you do. You threw the first punch and when she punched back she was obviously trying to hurt you as badly as she felt hurt by you, and she went for a knock out, then you called foul. Sorry, Jeremy, if you are gonna play mean, you need to get a tougher skin, or not try to clean up other people's messes.
