Is that what I should call you? I don’t care anymore; I’m too damn tired to care.
So, what do you do with your time? Are you so bored with everyone else that you have to come in screw with my life, or the lives of those around me?
I can almost imagine you, sitting in large thrones, before a marble chessboard, each piece finely chiseled, and each of you move them hoping to attain checkmate. Carefully moving each piece so you don’t damage our mortal coil, no not you, because there is still too much fun to be had.
I can imagine the big joke taking a small petite blonde, chosen to save the world and have her fall in love with the very kind she was destined to destroy. We all see the irony there, and yet, you couldn’t stop could you?
No, how much more fun, to make the one person my clan, hated, despised the person she fell in love with, but yet there was still a twist. I was the one to watch, sit in the sidelines and do nothing.
Still, there weren’t enough pawns for you, were there? Of all the people for me to fall in love with, it was her watcher.
What a laugh that must have been? Was it a quiet one, or if you can even cry, were hot salty tears falling down your cheeks as you plotted out this one?
And I’d be remiss if I forgot to mention, that yes, the demon did awaken, open his jaws and he roared, and while roaring he broke my neck.
I could go on about all the ways in which you have played with our little lives, but the more I think about it, the more it just pisses me off.
So in this chess game of your Buffyverse, no one maybe happy, you just keep pulling the strings to see how tangled our webs will be? Must everything end in pain, sorrow or death?
So much for my happy ending, not that I expected one, but I expected more from you, from it, from whatever the hell you are.
Finally, when I’m as close to resting in peace, as I’ll ever be, you bring me back. Whose clever idea was that? Want a metal?
