[Quinn hasn't been himself lately. The fallout event was rough on him, and he keeps losing friends lately. Finding April droned - seemingly for good - really stung. He seems to drift into space a lot, but if you ask him if anything is wrong, he gives you his usual grin and says he's totally cool. He spends a lot of time mindlessly playing video

[ Sometime after Quinn's phone call, Jolt pulls up in the driveway. He looks a little forlorn, even for a car. ]

... Hey Quinn.

[techno_mancer]

Hey man. Ya been doin' okay?

[electrowhipit]

... As okay as can be expected. [ don't mind him if he transforms and kind of sits in the driveway with a sad little robot sigh ]

I'm gonna miss her.

[techno_mancer]

Me too, buddy, me too. I have a hard time holdin' on to friends in this town.

...I'd offer ya a cigarette, but I don't think there's much point in that.

[electrowhipit]

Considering I don't have lungs? No, probably not.

[ a pause, and he offers Quinn a hand ]

Care for a lift?

[techno_mancer]

[Blinkblink.

Jolt. All his dreams. He grins ever so slightly.] Seriously, man?

[electrowhipit]

[ Something about his optics suggests a smile, since he lacks a proper mouth ] Wouldn't ask if I wasn't serious.

[techno_mancer]

[He chuckles a bit, finishes off his cigarette, and walks over.] I guess I ain't do much else 'sides sitting around feelin' sorry for myself.

[ He reaches down and carefully curls his fingers around Quinn, lifting him easily onto his shoulder. ]

[He can't help but grin now. What little Transformers fan didn't daydream about something like this.]

Holy cow... Good thing I ain't afraid of heights. Man, from up here, this place almost looks nice.

[electrowhipit]

I haven't even stood up yet.

[ But now he does, slowly and carefully so as to not pitch Quinn off his shoulder ]

I don't think ya realize h-- Whoa--

[he wobbles and grabs on. And then just looks over the town with big, stupid grin.]

[ Luckily Jolt has lots of spiny bits to hold onto ] You okay?

Yeah man, I'm great. Ha, I dunno if you know how awesome this is.
