[ Shrugs, and heads up the front walk ] Why not?

[He holds the bowl out for you. Candy!]

[ He takes a piece, inspecting it for a moment ] Probably. I'm Jolt.

I hear ya. Man, I ain't sure if I can handle this whole dad-and-husband, 9-to-5 thing they got goin' here. How did people in the 50s not go crazy with boredom?

One actual, two drones. I hear the town shuffles people through a lot, so I can only hope we fill up the house soon. The real kid in the house is pretty cool though. His name's Raz.

It gets easier once the drones go away. Then they don't expect you to be a dad or a husband.

Having to go to work is still a bummer, though.

Tell me about it. They made me a teacher. Gotta say, that's... that's takin' some getting used to. Calc is easy, I just ain't ever thought about teaching it. What they got you doing here?

Mechanic. It's not completely different from the stuff our medic was teaching me back home, but it's still weird sometimes.

Mechanic! Geez, now there's a job I would have rather had! That's more my area.

...Wait. A medic taught you mechanics?

Ah, yeah. Remember the part where I'm an alien? Mayfield made me human, but I'm usually 25 feet tall and made of metal.
