There are some times when my co-workers annoy me...

Take today, for example. I am working two events tonight, at the same time. I've seen three of my co-workers today and a fourth yesterday, none of them are doing anything - they've got excuses of varying strengths.

And then there's tomorrow, where the situation is quite similar. I am going to be working with one other guy to run two events, both in the early morning. One of the other techs (who had the strongest excuse) is going to be showing up at a nice, comfortable three in the afternoon to tear down after one of the events.

After Saturday, of course, comes Tuesday... Where, once again, there are two events. I'm running one of them. I simply cannot manage to be in two places at once that time... and the Boss is having a hard time finding someone to run the other event. It's not even that tough of an event, for Pete's sake - set up a bunch of speakers, hook them all to a DVD player, and then sit back and watch a movie.

I'm sure they all have their reasons, but from where I'm sitting now, I feel like I'm the only person actually pulling his weight around here. For the most part, it can be done, and when there are huge events, enough people want to help that they work, but when the little stuff starts piling up, everyone starts slacking, and yours truly is starting to feel like the only person in position to take up said slack.

On the plus side, I got to use my "angry" userpic. And, of course, I'm making a nice little bit of money in the process. It'd just be nicer if I wasn't wishing on a fairly regular basis that I could have two of me.
