Trapped beneath my pillow
So I don't think Tia Dalma for Halloween can be pulled off. None of the stitchers that I know can help me with it, and I don't know how to do it...I was given the suggestion of finding an old prom dress from Goodwill and distressing it...which doesn't sound like a bad idea. But I don't know what to do with it for color and stuff. I could roll it in the dirt, I guess. But netting and complicated stuff...complicated!
So I'm thinking...Harley Quinn? I've always wanted to be Harley Quinn. She's so g'damn crazy. Also, I like her hat. And her clown makeup. I think I can pull it off, I just have to find the costume...? Maybe just a jester? I don't know. But so many people are scared of clowns! What the hey.
Anyway, school started. Yeah. Pretty amazing schedule. I put in my three years of morning classes, so they can fuck off. I never have to get up before 8am on any given day. I go to four classes, one of them which meets only once a week -- and I'm done with my day by 3p.m. Glorious? I think so.
I hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend. I had a visitor (<3) who came on Friday and left today...he's a cousin of a friend...he's really cute...I kneed him in the jaw. Yeah, I socked him in the jaw with my knee. He's also very cuddly. When there was a storm here it woke me up and scared me and he held me until I wasn't scared no mores :] He told me to calm down and he stroked my hair. Trade off though was that he ate all my Gushers. WHAT A TOOL! (in his words. I didn't call him a tool.) He goes to UK. Just...I just don't do long distance...so effin' lame! Lamelamelame. Idk. Idk what to think about it. It is pulling me in many directions.
Auditions for The Yellow Boat and Cinderella tomorrow! Also open rehearsal for Happy Gas, being as we have auditions on Wednesday! YAY! Not. Auditions take soooo long. Such is life though so I cannot whine. Although it's just so much more fulfilling to whine.
