OK...you have just made me so very happy at a time I when I really could use some happy in my life. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE everything about this. You caught me by surprise with the dom/sub dynamic and having Brad be the dom is absolutely perfect. He is such a toppy sort of bottom isn't he.

Some specific things I admired in this writing: The whole paragraph that starts with "Can you trust me to help you get through the week?" I love Brad's sensitivity and nuance along with his hysterical slightly bitchy inner dialog--such smart writing on your part.

This paragraph: "Brad follows suit, tucking his hand through Adam's arm like they're walking a lush red carpet surrounded by photographers instead of a worn-to-gray one with no audience but a cat sitting on Brad's outside windowsill. Brad sits with him on the sofa, thinking in a far-off, startled way of the first time he came to Adam's bed, the way the two of them sat down holding hands before Adam told him not to be afraid and pulled him close" So wonderfully descriptive, sets the scene beautifully, while evoking so much about their past. And then the line about the condom later....just GAAAAAAAAH!

Your description of the problem in their relationship...the leeching. That's completely believable to me--that their problem was losing themselves in each other until they were both sucking energy away from their core rather than feeding their creativity and emotional selves.

I completely cracked up at Brad's response to being offered a million dollars to dish on Adam to the media--because you know DiCaprio and werecats--the stuff of fabulous fanfiction.:)

And "We fucking blazed..." They sure did. I wish I were a song writer because I think that would be a great song title. It also would be a great fic title.

Anyhow, as you can tell, I'm basically bowled over by this fic. I raise my glass to you my dear. (And its part of a series? Yay! Because greedy gal that I am, I want MORE.) Ok, I know, this was a little excessive, but SERIOUSLY, I'm just so in love with this fic.
