Writer's Block: BFF
Ugh, every time I try and get the text to show up with the prompt it won't work. Any help would be appreciated! In the meantime, here is what I wrote for the Writer's Block: How long have you had your best friend?
Wow, ummm... I've known solica (Huriyyah) for almost eight years now. We didn't start out as best friends, but she and I were part of a larger group of friends my freshman year of highschool. As those other friends and I grew apart, Huriyyah and I grew closer. We'd spend a weekend here and there at each others' houses, talking about our favorite anime and drawing together. When I graduated high school is when we truly became best friends. I had more time to spend with her and eventually we moved into an apartment together. That didn't last long due to finances, but that year was one of the best and most fun of my life. We had to move in with our parents again, but we still saw each other at least every other day. Eventually I moved into my aunt's house and Huriyyah later followed, and that's where we are now. We're currently in the process of moving into an apartment with our other best friend, Chris. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. She's my best friend forever, my soul-sister, my (to coin a Kevin Smith phrase) heterosexual life-mate.
