GINA I'M HAVING TOO MANY FEELINGS TO COME UP WITH ORIGINAL COMMENTS SO I'M JUST GONNA HAVE TO GO THROUGH AND PICK OUT MY FAVORITE LINES OKAY? OKAY.

Connor’s not at all surprised when a bloody wet cloth is tossed into his face. Murphy chuckles, eyes already fluttering shut as he buries his face into his pillow, and Connor gives one in return as he digs into his pocket for a smoke before stepping outside.

ughghghg boys. boys. I can see that, Gina. I can see that happening in canon. THAT IS THE BOYS.

The look on Noah’s face is heartbreaking as he grabs his son, tucking him against his chest so that Murphy can scream into his coat. He’s murmuring something in Gaelic, his fingers threading into Murphy’s dark hair and it seems like Murphy has no idea how to respond beyond that one sound, and they all catch the few words in English.

“I know, I know,” he whispers, and before anyone can stop him he takes his gun and with the butt of it cuffs Murphy against the back of the neck.

Oh god, favorite. Favorite. I love how you wrote Il Duce here, because he's perfect. He cares about his boys in that detached way, and his lines, and his everything, Gina, I can't even.

He had one hell of a pokerface and once, when they were eleven, Connor had pinched his arm and Murphy responded by kicking him in the balls.

AGAIN. I CAN SEE IT IN MY MIND'S EYE, HORATIO. THAT IS PERFECT AND I CAN'T.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the context of the statement and Connor silently touches the smooth, white scars that wrap around his wrists. Yeah.

/wheezes, dies Yes. Perfect. Because that moment in the movie pretty much sets them up perfectly. Connor is willing to fucking rip a toilet out of the floor to save Murphy.

Ugh the ending. And the "aye" and. Fuck. Gina, this was beautiful and sad and these boys, oh god, you have their voices down pat. And Smecker's, and Greenly's, and I just. Gina. Murphy. He breaks my heart. I couldn't even deal with his coma and Da and ughhghghghghghgh Gina this was awesome. BE PROUD.
