Before I go...
Finish my uchiwa that is ^__^
And I really thought I wouldn't make it in time! Not only did I not know what to do for it, but on Friday, I hadn't even bought materials yet! ANd as my fellow Aussies would know (ex WA :P) today is a public holiday so no shops were open. And I just happen to have been sick and feverish all Thursday and Friday, but I still needed to do things so I went to buy the materials on Friday morning. I might have imagining it, but I think all the sales people were giving me weird looks, either from teh stuff I was buying (nothing weird, paper, glue etc) or because it looked like I was about to fall over :P
Anyway, it's finally done, but is not nearly as pretty or genius!uchiwa as tayuri's.
The "SATOSHI" side. I originally bought fluffy stuff to put around the border, but I was running out of time and I couldn't risk it not drying in time. That and I really couldn't figure out a way to a fix it to the cardboard so that it looked good. And I spent so much time looking for it too! >_< So I put those decal thingys on instead but near the end I started running out of the ones I was using so had to improvise a bit ^^;
The yellow side says "nori nori dance" which I'm hoping they'll understand that I want them to do one and indulge me a bit. I want Aiba's appealing dance again :D But it sorta looks plain to me, especially around the edges, but I'm completely dry of ideas! And that's it, no genius!uchiwa with 3 sides, even though I wanted to have a side that said "Australia kara". Maybe I'll make another one in Japan if I'm not too tired~
Oh, and those of you with good eyes may have noticed something about handle - it's actually a clear ruler ^^; You can see the markings on it still, but I had to use it! I looked everywhere for something to use as a handle from spatula handles to popsticks stuck together, but in the end I when with the ruler to make it easier. Perhaps I should cover it with paper or something ^^;
And then, when I was repacking my bags for the gajillionth time today, my little brother, having finally made a breakthrough with his networking homework, came out for some distraction :P Procrastination runs in the family really. And he saw the left over decals or whatever you call them and wanted to make something from them, so this is what he came up with.

That's the notebook I bought to write stuff in while I'm travelling coz basically, my bro wants me to chronicle all the food I eat in Japan and take pictures of it, so that's what I'm gonna do! XDDDDDD
Alright, I'll stop spamming you guys now and try to finish packing. Or something.
