Ramblings VI + Memeage
+ WEDDINGS. So last weekend was my sister's wedding. Weddings really aren't my thing coz firstly, I had to get up at 6am to get hair and make up done and I'm definitely, DEFINITELY not a morning person ^^; Not to mention it was so, SO cold that day - about 15C at it's warmest. And it rained. And we were having a garden wedding ^^; So yeah. It didn't work out as well as we had hoped, but we managed to get through the ceremony without all catching colds. After that was a lunch coz I had to work later on. At which I ordered an underage person alcohol. Oops! But it's all good! No one found out! And the photos! There are so many photos it's not even funny! Just between 5 cameras, there are about 1200 photos ^^; and that's not including the professional ones. The only good thing is that you can't really tell that it's raining unless you look really carefully. By the end of the lunch I was pooped but had to go to work and was too lazy to wash off my makeup, so went to work so over dressed it was ridiculous! :P But overall, it was a good day but the reality of it sorta makes me sad coz all the changes that have been happening in my household for the last year or so are finally feeling like they are real.
+ SUBBING. God, it's not getting done at all! And I blame everything on Ohno! It's totally his fault! Look!
And that is just from when I reinstalled itunes on my computer last week! I'm seriously not getting anything done! >_< Everytime I sit down to do something, I get distracted coz I like to listen while I browse and then I think to myself, "Ok, I'll do some subbing once the song is over". But of course it's on repeat and so doesn't stop playing and I get caught up in doing whatever and the subbing doesn't get done. Damn you repeat button!!
+ DREAM 'A' LIVE. Speaking of these songs, I haven't really listened to the others still. I've listened to all the solos a fair number of times (but nothing like Ohno's ^^;) and my least favourite at the moment is Sho's. It's really similar to Cool&Soul and also reminds of Pen no sasu houkou so it didn't really catch my attention that much. Surprisingly, I kinda like Jun's solo, which is sorta funky I reckon :D Nino's would probably be my second favourite coz it's catchy and so different from Niji. It sorta feels like Ohno and Nino switched solos this year, but whatever! Ohno singing ballad is still good! And Aiba. His solo is just so him! It's cute and upbeat! And really? I'm quite partial to Aiba's voice and how it's so distinctive :D Other than that, none of the album songs have really struck me. But that might be because I've only listened to them a few times each so I can't even remember what each of them sounds like ^^;
+ FAMILY. My cousin went back to Sydney on Sunday D: I sorta enjoyed having him here coz we'd actually try to make some time to talk as a family which was nice~ But since he's gone, it's back to our normal routines D: Oh, and gran will be leaving on Saturday, which is actually a relief to all including her. It's getting too cold for her and after 6 months here, I think she's starting to miss home. In the course of one week, my family's been reduced from 7 to 4 - I feel sorta lonely D:
+ TELEVISION. My god! I've actually been watching it! XD But that's really only coz it's been cold lately and the heater is in the living room so I like to sit there :D But at least I catch up on my news~ But aside from normal TV, there's always Japanese TV~! As always, Arashi shows continue to be awesome! I really like Himitsu no Arashi-chan - at least, I can understand enough to make it somewhat interesting. And it's educational people!! VS Arashi is crack and lovely~ All the news clips on Jun's movie event in California is sorta amusing considering they're really trying to showcase Jun's English intro and don't seem to focus much on the director XD AND WHY GAKKOU E IKOU MAX?!?! I feel lied to and cheated!! Where is my Arashi member in drag?!?!? *cries* Drama of the season for me is Zettai Kareshi. Seeing Mizushima Hiro in action is more than enough incentive, but I actually quite enjoyed the manga in my manga days and even though there are changes, I think it was a good choice. That, and I don't remember the ending anymore so it's like watching something completely new :D

Or I'll be interested in someone because of something I'm watching (I- I like to find out stuff about the people I'm watching. What?) but usually that interest doesn't last long or else I get overwhelmed ^^;

+ Matsumoto Jun. This one's self explanatory right? XD He's a popular person at the moment huh? I wonder if his movie will screen in Oz as well? Probably not D:
+ Moccasins. I can't walk around my house without them! They're white :D
+ Movies. I haven't been to see one at the cinema for about 5 years. I'm just too lazy to leave the house and pay, when I can just download it later~
+ Music. Even though I have no talent in that area, life is too quiet without it, so like to have it wherever I go in the form of my ipods
+ Milk. Can't drink it. Makes me puke. Probably the reason why I'm so short ^^;
+ Mandarins. My favourite fruit in my favourite group of fruits. I love citrus fruits, or maybe I just have a thing for orange/yellow coloured things?
+ Money. I like it :D
+ Matte. I prefer to print my photos with a matte finish rather a gloss. I don't why, it's a habit I picked up from my mum
+ Markers. I have no idea how many I've bought and lost over the years. I'm sure one day I'll find a whole pile of them somewhere ^^;
+ Murray River. I worry about it. It's dying and has been for years and I have no idea if it'll survive this drought coz the rainfall in QLD isn't reaching us at all. And the states just can't get along >_<

And saving the most exciting news (for me at least) for last...
I'M GOING TO JAPAN!!! d^_^b
I'm happy like you won't believe! And it's so short notice as well. Well, sorta, since I'm not actually going til June, but pretty much I decided to go on Thursday night after having a chat with tayuri which resulted in me going "OK!! I'm going too!!!" And planning everything over the weekend (I had to make sure I was free to go and it didn't clash with my sister's plans for the same time) and telling my parents on Friday. Actually, at first they just treated it like my normal babble coz I've been planning to go to Japan next year for some time and they know about those plans, so when I said I was going and what souvenir they wanted, they played along, until I told them I was serious. At which they were like "why?!?!" and "by yourself?!?!" XDDD Well, they are a bit over protective to begin with but it should be okay. Somehow. At the very least, I'll have tayuri as my bodyguard :D aksjlh;l Everytime I think about it a stupid smile gets on my face and my bro looks at me weird XD But actually, even though my original plan was to just go to Japan for a bit and come back, when my mum heard this, she told me I should just take some more time to go to a few more places so my 10 day holiday is now nearly a month long ^^;
My itinerary if anyone is interested:
10th June - Fly out of Adelaide, transit in KL
11th June - Arrive in Japanland :D
21th June - Leave Japanland behind D:/arrive in KL
24th June - Leave KL for Cambodia/arrive Cambodia
4th July - Leave Cambodia, transit in KL
5th July - Arrive back in Adelaide
So... Malaysians out there, got any suggestions as to where to go while I'm there? I have no idea what to do while I'm there, I'm just staying there coz I have to transit through KL at least 3 times so might as well XD
But, yes! I'm going to Japan ^__^
