I'm getting rather tired of everyone pointing out to me that i have failed as an artist and failed as a human being. In an attempt to conform with what society thinks I should be I've decided to make a few changes in my life. The following are changes that will be taking place:
Shave off my mustache and beard for a more "clean-cut" look (done)
Cut my hair to a more conservative length......think TV anchorman or insurance salesman or Adolf Hitler
Start watching reality TV shows
Trade in my hot little Import Racer for a blue Prius
buy some loafers
begin wearing slacks, khakis, button-up shirts, ties, etc.
Join Facebook and Twitter.....Tweet every time I take a shit or pick my nose or any other totally unimportant event
Delete linux and replace it with a shiny new copy of windows 7
Register and vote Republican
Stop playing video games
Take up golf
Start monitoring my fiber intake
Quit making music (or any other type of art)
Get a 9-5 job with medical benefits....use these medical benefits to get on antidepressants
Convert to Christianity and start regularly attending church services
Learn to quietly hate homosexuals, and minorities but pretend to tolerate them
Figure out what a "401k" plan is and be excited to tell other people about its progress
Find a non-thinking average looking female to commit to a monogamous marriage with. have passionless sex once a month, i'll think of a swimsuit model, she'll think of some rockstar or actor. we'll both pretend to be thinking of each other. after a certain amount of time we'll have 2.3 kids that we'll raise to be mindless little consumer drones.
Start watching the twilight movies and pretend not to notice that they are utter rubbish.
Learn to appreciate Michael Bolton, Celine Dion, Phil Collins, and Nickleback.
Convince myself that Mylie Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are good little role models for America's youth and then be genuinely shocked and surprised when they are involved in sex scandals.
I'll probably come up with more things as I get further into the lifestyle.
