It seems that I have lost sensation in both hands, and I am unsure as to why. I haven't electrocuted myself recently, so I don't believe that would be the reason. Is there something specific to this place that might have caused it?

Yes, both. I was wondering it was something to do with this place and the effects it has on people, because otherwise it's likely a neurological issue and I'd prefer if it weren't.
