too many things that i love

5. zoka coffee roaster & tea company, for several reasons.
5b. the caramel latte i had was fantastic. it had apple undertones and i can't decide if it was the caramel they used or the espresso they used. i'll have to get a plain latte next time to see.
5c. their decor. it was all dark brown. So many places do white and light and try to open up their space these days. But Zoka was made out of dark wood and brown leather with subtle lighting, with HUGE windows to let in natural light. It worked because it was a big room, a huge room, and it was all tasteful and not shabby looking.
5d. They're the second coffeeshop I've been to in Seattle that has a note saying "all drinks made with two shots of espresso unless otherwise requested". And again, i didn't see the note until after I ordered a double shot latte. :P Next time. Not coincidentally, I think, the coffeeshops were both their own coffee roasters (the other one was Stumptown, a high quality operation I respect).
6. clean bathroom. I hate cleaning the bathroom, but I love that it's clean.
7. bike riding around Greenlake. I was out for 40 minutes, and I think I went around 1.5 times due to not knowing where the multiple routes would take me.
8. couscous zucchini chickpeas in garlic.
9. A real day off. I define a day off as a day I don't have to go to work or take the bus.
