On the plus side, work today was interesting. On the down side, it almost got TOO interesting. Started off uneventful enough. I go on break, and come back to find the internet is out. This means I can not work at all until it comes back on, which it does moments later. I do work, do stuff, go to lunch, come back and...the power goes out. Then I see a black cloud of smoke shoot by the window. Apparently, we have a backup power generator. Now even later, the program we use at work start misbehaving and eating everyone's data. I am glad I got out now before anything actually horrible happened. Now, on to the meme.
Day 7 - Favorite game couple.
Hrm...this is a tough one, if only because I don't play too many games that have couples in it. After all, the rpg hero is always missing at least one parent, and the hero's girl doesn't actually fall for him until the end, or she is kept away until the end. That being said, I am going to choose Peach and Mario, but not any Peach and Mario, Peach and Mario from Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door. What is different about this couple than the previous incarnations? While Peach is kidnapped and needs to be rescues, she actually does things helpful while captured to see Mario instead of just sitting around. Also, you eventually end up with a Gothic Peach who can destroy the universe and Mario having to fight his love, but really, it's the fact that she tries in this one that wins me over.
