It's been awhile, yes? But hey, I have great news for this random update! I'm moving out into my own apartment! It's a fantastic place smack dab in the middle of downtown Arlington Heights (a Northwest suburb of Chicago). In fact, it's in the first building built in the city. It's really small (350 sq. feet), but I don't need much space, and the location is more than worth it. So, yey!
Now I just need to buy stuff/pick up stuff from friends and family. I was going to go for a 32"-37" tv for about $500, but then this lovely thing came to my attention, and I'm thinking of spending the extra $200 for an extra 10-15".

Any thoughts on the situation? Should I splurge, or go smaller for my small apartment?
