Games! Wheeee!
Inspired by brichibi, here's my list of upcoming games I'm super-excited for. ^_^
PSP:
Crimson Gem Saga - technically this is out already, but the release date was kind of wonky and thusly my Gamestop isn't getting it until Monday/Tuesday. It's a traditional turn-based RPG, which is just the way I likes it!
Final Fantasy Dissidia - the Final Fantasy fighting game. 'Nough said. I sure do wich they'd keep the Japanese voices (I know they won't), but I'll live with it.
PS3:
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger - I love 2D fighting games, but I suck at them. I gave up buying them, but BlazBlue is so pretty that I couldn't resist. Hell, I even ordered it online to get the artbook.
DDR vol. 1 - I don't know what songs are on it or how it'll work, but DDR on PS3 has been too long in the coming! Do want!
Heavy Rain - By the guys who made Indigo Prophecy, which is enought to buy it already. Insane realism and interactive movie style gameplay is a winner in my book.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - I have one word for why I want this. Deadpool. <3
End of Eternity (Resonance of Fate in the US) - I have no idea why they're renaming this in the US, but it's still going to be an awesome game. RPG with 2 guys, guns, and a lab-test girl. That's all I've seen about it so far, but it still looks sweet!
White Knight Story - Level 5 and good games go hand in hand. Hero who can transform into a giant guy in armor, ala Ultraman. Awesome. I'm a little wary of the heavy online play, but I still have faith I can enjoy it.
Wii (I don't have one yet, but it will happen soon. . . maybe):
Arc Rise Fantasia - Pretty anime-style JRPG for the Wii!
Fragile - Another pretty anime-style JRPG for the Wii! And believe me, the Wii can use all of these it can get its hands on.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade - Gorgeous Odin Spehere art style. I'm meh about an action game, but god is it pretty.
Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles - Resident Evil 2 is my favorite of the timeline. And I have a fondness for rail shooters. Put the two together and I am a happy panda!
No More Heroes 2 - Do I even need to say anything? Hell, I bought NMH 1 even though I don't have a Wii (yet)!
DS:
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Eeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Edgeworth! <3<3<3
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days - I won't buy it right out (I don't pay the Square-Enix DS tax, they can price their games at $35 like everyone else), but I am liking this. When it comes to multiplayer, I totally call Axel. ^_^
Flower, Sun and Rain - Suda51 is so freaking awesome! Adventure style mystery game made by Suda51 (Killer 7 and No More Heroes guy) is bound to be all sorts of messed up and fantastic.
Sands of Destruction - You know how Blue Dragon had the same guys behind it that Chrono Trigger did? Well, SoD is like that only with the guys who made Xenogears. I know Blue Dragon didn't do so well, but I have gobs of faith in the Xenogears team (not Xenosaga. . .) team, and am really looking forward to this one.
Shin megami Tensei: Devil Survivor - SMT baby! Also, demon auctions and seeing when people are going to die. Plus it takes place in Tokyo, which always makes me feel warm and squishy inside since I've been there.
