Cowboy Whisperer (Ennis & Jack joke)

Someone sent  me this joke today.  I changed the characters from Cowboy and Indian to Jack and Ennis.  I mean no disrespect, but in light of all the grief we've been feeling, I think we can all use a good laugh.  Please don't read it if you think its disrespectful.  It's Ennis and Jack, not Heath and Jake.

COWBOY WHISPERER

Ennis: "That your dog?"

Jack: "Yep."

Ennis: "Mind if I speak to him?"

Jack: "Dogs don't talk."

Ennis: "Hey dog, how's it going?"

Dog: "Doin' all right."

Jack: (Look of shock!)

Ennis: "Is Jack your owner?"

Dog: "Yep."

Ennis: "How's he treating you?"

Dog: "Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food and takes me to the lake once a week to play."

Jack: (Look of total disbelief)

Ennis: "Mind if I talk to your horse?"

Jack: "Horses don't talk neither, not to me, at least."

Ennis: "Hey horse, how's it going?"

Horse: "Cool."

Jack : (Extreme look of shock!) AGAIN

Ennis: "Do you belong to Jack, here?"

Horse: "Yep."

Ennis: "How's he treating you?"

Horse: "Pretty good, thanks for asking, he rides me, brushes me down often and keeps me in a lean-to to protect me from the weather."

Jack: (Look of total amazement)

Ennis: "Mind if I talk to your sheep?"

Jack: "Sheep lie."
