it's a beautiful day
So I just came home about an hour and a half ago dripping wet. You see, they were predicting rain for later on today, and I needed to go grocery shopping, so around noon I figured I'd better go now before the rain starts. But I overestimated how much time I had -- the rain started as I was biking to the store, and it came down hard too. I hate biking through the rain; I can't stand having water splashing in my face and soaking wet clothing hanging off my body. Blecch. Of course, after I got home all the rain stopped and the sun came out. -_- But after a change of clothing and a quick shower I feel much better.
And I was planning on going to the library and getting so much work done too. Fortunately I transferred all my sound files for phonetics class to CD yesterday afternoon right after making the recording so at least I can work on that here at home. Funny how that 50 seconds of speech is going to take me something like 5 hours to analyze...:P
