ripresa told me the other day that I should be updating more often. Actually, it wasn't the other day, it was, what, two or three weeks ago? Oops. ^_^; But I don't think posting e.g. "Spent all day doing research in the library" over and over again makes for interesting reading. So if I don't post anything for a while, well, you can assume that's what I've been doing. Though I did happen to get an interesting email yesterday; someone from Google emailed me out of the blue asking if I'd be interested in any job opportunities over there, and if I could send him my CV. Apparently a professor I work for passed my name on to him. So I've been spending all morning updating my CV and worrying about whether it's good enough...I mean, this is freaking *GOOGLE* we're talking about here, after all. And I don't even have a bachelor's degree in CS, and am mostly self-taught as far as programming skills and whatnot, and looking over the requirements they have for many of the jobs they have posted I have a feeling that they're going to consider me massively underqualified for any of their positions...ack. Ok, I have to stop worrying about this so much. I've already sent my CV to them, so I just have to wait and see what they say...
