final Picasso update
Picasso got very sick last weekend, and she kept refusing to eat her food for several days in a row afterwards, and also seemed very unhappy, so I decided it was finally time to have her put to sleep. I brought her in to the vet last Thursday to have it done. It was very quick and painless for her, and I'm just relieved that she's not suffering any more.
