don't read this while eating

I keep having these bizarre dreams about my teeth. Yes, my teeth. They always start with me playing with a loose tooth with my tongue. Then the tooth pops out of my jaw. I go to the mirror to put it back in, and discover to my horror that all of my teeth are blackened, rotting stumps in my mouth. Then I wake up, and find to my relief that the tooth I was playing with isn't actually loose at all. I must have this dream about two or three times a month....I think it's because my wisdom teeth are coming in, and they're putting pressure on my other teeth and making my gums feel sore. Unfortunately I don't have dental insurance, and I hear that extractions run $1500--per tooth--and aren't covered by insurance anyway, and I don't happen to have $6000 just lying around (well, I do, but it's my stipend and I need to live off of it for the next four months), so I won't be getting them removed any time soon. Maybe I should take out a loan.....as if I don't have enough of those to pay back already. -_-

In Japanese class yesterday we learned how to say how long we've been in Ithaca, and how far away our hometown is. I was freaking people out by telling them, 「僕は七年前にイサカに来ました」. Yeah, that's right, this is my EIGHTH YEAR at Cornell! Muahahaha! ^___^ (It's because I went here as an undergrad, then stayed for grad school.)
