Took a quick little detour trip to NYC this past weekend with Stacey, or perhaps I should call her "Eva the Diva." It was very fun but involved a lot of walking. We didn't get much time to do anything in the city, but it was still a good trip. We scoped out the town so we could know what to do when we go back for a longer trip. We could possibly go in the fall, but we'll see if my vacation and her vacation line up.
I bought a cute little yellow skirt from a vintage store that I love. I need a white blouse and some white pumps or something to go with it. A trip to payless may be in order. God forbid I pay more than 20$ for a pair of shoes. If only some rich guy died and left me all his money with instructions to spend it all on shoes, but seeing as that is quite unlikely I will have to settle for cheap hurt my feeties shoes.
I also bought a hilarious set of magnets called "The Essential Collection of Naked Men in Oven Mitts" which is quite humourous. I hope my roommates love them as much as I do ;) cuz they are going on the fridge! XD
Also found some cute wall art which I think I'll mount across from the front door once I repaint the ugly frames. Yard sale find, but I love them and the walls of the apt are so bleh right now.
