It ... broke her heart. Which is not something she has ever felt before, since she did not actually know what love was before she met him. So she is having feelings that she wants to sort out, but it's impossible to do that without him! She hasn't shown a lot of it, she would rather do that alone. Mostly she has tried to give her sons some comfort, because she still has to put them first. She went and got Wataru a support system and is making sure that they both have people they can turn to in lieu of herself, and then just ... breaking down. Inconsolable for awhile.

So... she'll be a lot more aggressive for awhile, and nowhere near as happy again. She'll keep face for people, but it will be a different ballgame. EVEN THOUGH SHE KNEW THAT THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, that she would be faced with a life without Otoya and that every day with him was precious, she was not prepared for the feeling of heartbreak. Because I will never canon update her that far.In a related
