Oh, I didn't want it to end. You built up the camaraderie and chemistry so beautifully, so quickly as it happened in the show. Sigh. I want more ...............

Thanks!

Think of "more" as 1x01 Rose. :D That's what I told myself anyway.

Hah. That works. I guess. Sniff. Man, I just really want some timey-wimey post S2 Rose/Nine stuff.

I think Rose would be really wary of potentially saying something that could mess up both their timelines. And I *really* didn't want to go Moffat's SiL/FoD route and make the basis of their relationship because Rose said so.

But then I thought it would be really sweet if they could give each other this moment of comfort when they needed it most (the Doctor post-Time War, Rose disheartened because she hasn't found him yet) because that seemed so THEM even without the Doctor knowing who she was yet.

Loved that. :)

This is so nice:
“How’d you know?”
“I’m very clever.”
She snorts and he grins at her, eyes crinkling.

You hit the perfect mood/feeling between them and now I miss him too. :)

Lovely stuff.

Oh! That was lovely.

*sniffle*

Thank you!

I miss Nine.

He was only with us for a brief span of time, wasn't he?

She doesn’t know how he does it-makes her feel nineteen again with a single look. But she’s twenty-five and this isn’t the year five billion and the last thing she remembers from him is an unfinished sentence on a beach in Norway.
Oh, how confusing this would be for her. She probably wants to hug and demand answers and get closure or pick up where they left off and instead she immeadiately recognises his pain and pushes all of her needs aside. It's so ROSE.

He can’t stop his smile, his I’m-so-brilliant smile. Some things about him never change. She hopes for a “fantastic,” but he settles for a gentle sounding, “I think you’ve probably said enough.”
Dead-on Nine. OH, I miss him.

Lovely one-shot. Something I would never have thought of, but I'm glad you did! ;)

Terribly confusing to have finally found the man she's been searching for, and yet she can't really do anything about since it's too early in his timeline. Still, I don't think she'd be capable of just up and leaving him.

Thank you. :D

You know...I liked this. And I don't usually like Nine. Then again, as the universe knows, I have a thing for timeline crossing. So maybe Future Rose + Past Doctor = bundles of fun for me.

Although bundles of fun might be the wrong word. Maybe warm fuzzies. Or touching little fluffy-angst. Or something.

Regardless, this was sweet :) And was a pleasure to read. Thanks for writing!

Yeah, Ten/Rose is very much what springs to mind when I think of the Doctor and Rose, but I'm really fascinated with the idea of an older Rose and Nine interacting.

shinyopals said it wasn't too angsty, and she tends to have a very low threshold for angst, so I believed her! *G*
