Keeping up...
...with housework is the most endless and thankless task in the world. I've just got done doing the dishes after having to soak some of them for a good fifteen minutes or more. And hopefully this afternoon I can tackle the laundry, but to be honest, I'm looking forward to just being able to sit down and breathe for a few minutes.
Vikings lost the game yesterday, meaning they're not going to the Superbowl. Kind of a let down, but I wasn't big on football anyway. The Saints seemed like they deserved to win - something good for New Orleans.
Liz sent me a parcel with some crochet start-up items so I'm going to get started on that this week. I have a lot of practice ahead of me, but it beats talking to idiots from Craiglist (yes, I put an ad up with mixed responses, some were just downright rude) or sitting around waiting for people to come online to talk to. It's been a lonely few weeks...
