Title: The Beginning, The End Pairing: Jeffrey Buttle x Johnny Weir Rating: PG13 (RPS) Disclaimer: To my knowledge, this has never happened. Archived @ Master List Summary: What happened at the end of Calgary.
Awww. Loved it! "I'm going to train," said Johnny quietly. "And next year, I'm going to win." This sounds very much like the real Johnny! I really like how you portrayed him in the story. :) I like the Jeff-Brian parallel at the end, nice idea!
I've been trying to write Johnny-fluff, but for some reason, it always ends up going in the complete opposite direction. O_O Same thing happened to me two nights ago. I started a story about Johnny, intent on creating sweet and fluffy, like the song I was listening to (At My Most Beautiful by REM), but it kept getting angstier and angstier with every word I wrote. Hehe.
By the way, would you mind posting the original pic for your icon? I've never seen that one before. Thanks.:)
Thank you! I forced myself to watch his free-skate (with the fall) at Worlds, and I kept thinking "He's fighting! He's still fighting!". Hence, this fic was born.
I'm glad I'm not alone. I love Johnny, I really do, but I can't seem to give him a happy ending. Maybe once the new season starts. ^^;;
And no, I don't mind the least bit. I believe it was taken during the 2004 Marshalls World Cup, but I could be wrong. =D
I love Johnny, I really do, but I can't seem to give him a happy ending. He makes such a wonderful tragic character. Like in that one song: You're so pretty when you cry... ;)
That's exactly it. Johnny is so open with people, you feel like you know all about him. I have trouble writing Evan (and most everyone else) because I have no idea what kind of person they are.
