"The Fight"
Touya Kouyo never dreaded a return home every now and then between trips to Korea and back. It was both relaxing and prevented his doctor from suffering a heart attack himself. This return was no different, except perhaps his sudden want to check up on the Go salon. It had nothing to do with business- any Go-related place with the name ‘Touya' attached would no doubt attract customers, even excluding the regulars. It had more to do with the fact that ever since Akira moved out, they hadn't been able to see each other as much and since today was a Sunday, he thought he should pay a visit.
The first thing he saw when he got out of the elevator, surprisingly, was Ogata-kun leaning against the doorway. Quite unusual since the Ouza finals were the very next day and it was a habit of his former-pupil to check in the hotel two days before; something about 'getting used to the enviroment'. Upon nearing, he noted that Ogata had a very amused half-smile on his face.
"Touya-sensei." Ogata greeted as the former-Meijin approached. "I didn't know you were back."
"Ah, I returned yesterday."
Ichikawa-san gave quite a start when the two walked in. "Oh, Touya-san! Ogata-san!" Much more frazzled than normal, this one, as she tossed a quick look toward Akira's corner. "Anou.. welcome back, sensei!"
"Is Akira here?"
"He is." Another nervous look as a group of men trudged, single file, away from the corner.
"It's about to start again." Then, catching sight of him, "Oh! Touya-sensei! Ogata-sensei!" Then, they, too, glanced back to the corner. Touya Kouyo, however, wasn't left in the dark for very long. One of the two players in the back, the one wearing the bright yellow jacket, suddenly stood up, so quickly his chair nearly fell over backwards, and planted his hands on either side of the table. Shindou Hikaru?
"I didn't NEED to counter this!" He yelled angrily at the other player, no doubt Akira. "All I had to do was wait for you to fall in my trap." What surprised him next was that Akira, too, stood up in the same manner Shindou-kun had, knocked his chair over, returned the pose, and shoved his face in Shindou's own.
"If you WANTED me to fall in that trap, you shouldn't have made it so blatantly OBVIOUS. You MIGHT'VE fooled me if you waited another turn BEFORE the atari."
"I would've won either way."
"I said MIGHT'VE."
"No you DIDN'T."
"Yes, I DID!""
"NO YOU DIDN'T."
"YES I DID!"
"TOUYA!"
"SHINDOU!"
"I'M LEAVING!"
"DON'T COME BACK!"
Shindou turned around and blanched. Akira, following his gaze, followed in suit. Really, young people's faces can drain of blood at such an appalling rate.
"Otou-san!"
"Touya-sensei!"
Then, together, "Ogata-san."
Ogata, who still had the remains of his smile from before, chuckled lightly. "I've been waiting forever to hear one of you two's famed shouting matches."
The two of them flushed, faces turning a brilliant shade of red at the same rate they had paled. "Sorry." They looked meekly toward Touya-sensei, who rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Shindou-kun, would you like to come by the house tomorrow?"
Kitajima-san choked on his tea.

"Y'know," Shindou said as he slurped down his beloved ramen. "I thought your dad would kick us out, not encourage us to continue our... y'know."
"I thought he'd disown me for losing me temper like that, not... tell me he was proud of me for acting like a normal teenager." Akira shuddered. "So, we're alright?"
"For now. Until he finds out about us, anyway."
"Finds out about- SHINDOU!"
"What?"
