Summary: Sho and Nino were sharing a sweet afternoon together while shopping when they came across their names in MUJI.
A/N: I saw this picture on Facebook about this MUJI outlet in Japan pushing forward Nino and Sho's famous headbands and I briefly wondered "hey... what would actually happen if they saw that? XD" and that was how this fic came about. Enjoy!
"Nino, could you remind me again what we are going to need?"
"…More sex?"
Sho gave Nino a shove on his shoulder.
"Announce it to the whole shopping mall, why don't you?" Sho whispered, embarassment flushed on his cheeks,"I mean that shopping list of lifestyle goods we need! I handed it to you outside the house, remember?"
"Oh THOSE things,"Nino said cheekily as he took out his wallet and handed him the list, "although technically we are going to need more sex as a lifestyle-"
"OKAY we are good here!" Sho cut in promptly to save himself from even more embarrassment and scanned the list,"let's see, binder folders, storage boxes, towels.."
"Muji, right?"
"Yep, we are going there. They have the rattan basket I wanted for the guest towels, " Sho said as he casually linked their hands together and dragged Nino towards the lift lobby nearby,"it's on the 3rd floor."
Nino pressed the "Up" button, and the pair waited patiently as the lift descended down from the 4th floor.
*DING!*
A crowd of people stepped out of the elevator, leaving Nino and Sho as the only ones to enter the lift.
The elevator doors slid shut.
Sho listened acutely for the music playing from the speakers above them. Just then, he felt Nino sidle up against his side, his lips just a centimetre away from his right cheek.
"Well?" Nino breathed, his breath tickling Sho's ear.
"HERE?!" Sho whispered under his breath,"we are in public!"
"We are in an elevator."
"It's STILL property for public use!"
Nino pouted and stepped away from Sho.
"So? What? I have to wait for the lift to stop and break down before I can get a kiss?" Nino sulked cutely as he looked down and kicked lightly on the ground with his shoes.
*ding!*
Right before the lift doors swung open, Sho swooped down from beside Nino and touched their lips briefly together. Nino felt his cheeks flush as he let himself be led by Sho out of the elevator with his heart beating fast.
Stepping into Muji was always a joy to Sho- the cool air and fresh feeling that the shop gives with its simple, minimalistic lifestyle goods was just incomparable anywhere else.
"Right, let's go grab some stuff.." Sho said as he looked at his list, only to feel Nino tugging at his sleeve.
"Sho-kun, look! We are famous!"
Sho gave an amused laugh.
"Of course we are, Nino. What are you talking about?"
"No, I mean, we are listed on Muji!"
Sho raised his eyebrows in curiosity and followed Nino's eyes to a set of familiar dark-coloured and grey-stripe headbands displayed neatly for sale.
"Hot items!"
"Sakurai-kun uses it too!"
"Ninomiya-kun uses it too!"
"Oh my God.." Sho covered his face in slight embarrassment, "to think that we are now indirectly endorsing Muji products..."
"I think it's cute that they put us together here as well, don't you think?" Nino asked while casually linking his arm with Sho's.
Just then, he had a great idea.
"Ne, Sho-kun, why don't we get another matching set of things from Muji?"
Sho looked at Nino in surprise.
"What?"
"Yeah. We get another matching pair of stuff and casually advertise that in our behind-the-scene shots or something."
Sho laughed as he directed Nino away from the headbands, "you want to match together again?"
"Why not? What shall we get this time, Sho-chan?"
Sho looked over at the towels section.
"I think matching towels would be great,"Sho said, "except that maybe this time I take the striped one and you take the dark-coloured one."
"Oh, a reverse of our headbands? Nice!"
Nino then went off to grab them. Sho watched as Nino selected the towels and smiled quietly to himself.
It was nice having them match each other on-screen.
Well, he sort of preferred the idea of them matching even back at home as well.
"Oh right," Sho quietly made an excuse, "I forgot that our slippers are quite worn. I should go get some."
He then shuffled quietly over to the section with room slippers and picked two pairs of green flannel slippers.
Nino returned to him shortly after and looked at the items in the basket.
"Sho-kun? Why are there room slippers in the basket?"
"Just because."
"You rarely spend money impulsively."
"Oh please this is nothing,"Sho said, "I'm just trying to match us on camera and otherwise."
Nino laughed heartily as Sho led him around the shop with blushing cheeks.
"Who knew you could be this adorable?" Nino teased as he nestled his head down on one of Sho's sloping shoulders.
