Anything out of the ordinary is scary for them. They've done that trail a lot. If you dont go left up the mountain, like we did, it takes you to a trail we take guests on all the time. But the presence of the tables and chairs eliminated the safety of the trail. Horses are flee animals. They are vegetarians, prey animals and not high on the food chain.
