A kiss is just a kiss?

I had a crappy V-Day in RL yesterday since I worked in a mind-numbing temp job with a sinus headache transcribing boring consumer interviews from DVDs (to be used for popvox) into Word.  One of the interviewees was this nerdy family man who stuttered quite a bit and said 'you know' a lot and I so desperately wished it was Gale's Redzone interview instead to take the pain away.  The day before that I'd missed out on yet another job when it came down to just me and another person and they had "industry experience" and I didn't.  WTF, I'm a secretary, not tryng to become a doctor or a lawyer.  Luckily, I had a cyber V-day to look forward today (it's the 15th down here now), so thank you to everyone who has shared V-Day love and wishes in their journals and particularly to
bunny,
equuse for their virtual rose gifts.  And the most wonderful surprise came from qafcomments who extended my paid account for another year (so everyone - that includes you Mr Harold & Mr Harrison - will have to feed me with inspiration until June 2007 since I'll probably still be unemployed then!).  You will be pleased to know you only get virtual kisses since my sinuses are still giving me hell.< /feeling sorry for myself>

As my [belated] gift of lurve to everyone, I'll be doing yet another comprehensive B/J (G/R) study on a subject I know you'll enjoy but you may not know what you think you know ;)   So first, I'd like everyone to do the following 'quiz' to find out whether there's a difference between reality and perception when it comes to B/J (G/R) kissing.

Definition of Kiss (v.):  touch with the lips or press the lips (against someone's mouth or other body part) as an expression of lust, affection, greeting, love, etc.

I've defined a single kiss as: lips touching any part of the body before shifting position (eg tilting the head from one side to the other will count as a separate kiss even if lips remain in contact) or breaking contact completely.

Poll ETA: another B/J kiss [poll] question is over here.

And a kiss quote by Gale (esp. for the anti-romanticists):

"Kissing a man...it's more animalistic. There's a primal drive with men and you can feel that the second you start kissing. It's much more visceral than kissing a woman. Women take their time. There's more play. It's not a mad dash to get your rocks off. And kissing men who, even after they've shaved, have the roughest skin. I've got the worst fuckin' burns on my face."

poll results, rl
