I just had an epiphany or whatever you call 'em. Well a lil one anyways
I was sitting here listening to End of the Line. and the lines:
The sky's a blur
My drug my friend
Sometimes you can't avoid the lonesome bitter end
I think they're talking about dying alone, in the middle of nowhere (no pun intended) of a drug overdose.
Thats just me though... but I always had issues understanding that line... and I think I get it now, so I'm happy.
Can you just see the music video for that song?
I see someone getting off a train, and stepping into a "wrong side of the tracks" neighbourhood and they look around and see:
This chick walking around in a daze, looking for something
The guy on the ground dying of a drug overdose.
A chick with a can of kerosene, smoking a cigarette with a desperate look in her eyes
A group of potheads
and then they just sorta blurt out: this must be the end of the line
maybe its cheesy but hey, thats what i see... sorta... (only more in depth)
