Techy update
Yes, this is a bullet-point form of some little nerdy/techy things I'm doing. Not going to cut it, as other than one or two points, it's mostly consumerist.
* My t-shirt idea for the Python Ireland group is going to be this year's t-shirt! *score* (It was the slogan: "Getting the Global Interpreter Locked" - yup, unless you're into python, you won't know what that's in reference to)
* I'm finally getting my opensolaris desktop into shape - it's purty, and can now play mp3s. *swoon* (Meaning I can listen to spittingkittens' glitch posts.
* I'm going to go enquire about getting a nice little Asus EEE for myself today. They're cute, tiny, and can be carried around wherever.
* I'm also now seriously considering the G1 (Android) phone. There's also another Android on the market, so I want to see what the differences are.
* The creative folks will get this: I really wanna get off my ass and do some game coding. If nothing else, a 2-day game hack-a-thon like Ludum Dare (Official webpage).
