(no subject)
So, today was a better day for getting yeast nutrient. I wandered out to Bray at a half-decent pace, and got it. I was served by a nice old lady, so I didn't make the comment that I had planned:
Great to see you have this, I have a tub of E45 at home and I'm planning to mix it in and give it to my girlfriend saying it's a treatment for her thrush.
In fairness, I doubt I'd have had the guts at any rate, but I still thought it was hillariously funny and would make a great story for someone if I ever DID say it to them.
On the messed up communication thing, I think I was getting a call from my new manager on my mobile when the power died, and kept on dying. I plugged it in to charge, and went hunting yeastie feasties, and came back to find it hadn't charged. Other stuff also seemed to happen, but I can't actually remember those bits at the moment.
