Planning ahead
I've just remembered that a few months ago, myself and chebe and others, tracked down a Toastmasters chapter, only to find they were winding down for the summer.
So, now that the academic year is coming around again, and they're starting back up, I'm thinking of signing up for a year to help with presentation skills. While I've done public speaking before, it does help to speak in front of 30 people on a regular basis.
I need to double-check the prices but I think it works out at something like 150 euro for the year, max... but I just need to double check that. EditIt's 100 per term - i.e. 200 for the year. I'm still doing it as I reckon it'll help me both socialise and prepare me for presentations.
