Grocery Secrets....

Awesome things I've learned, having to shop for myself...

If you look in the bulk section by the chocolate wafers, there's packaged pretzels, probably supposed to get dipped in chocolate. These are WICKED cheap. Like half the price of other pretzels. But just as good, if not better.

Aldi's has broccoli crowns for cheap... it works out to a little under a dollar per pound. Also, a bag of baby carrots is 89 cents. But not everything is cheaper at Aldi's.

While store brand brick cheeses are alright, string cheese NEVER IS.

"Two for $x" Doesn't actually mean that you need to buy two to get a discount.

Pre-bagged apples are ALWAYS cheaper.

Bottled water is a total ripoff. Get yourself a Nalgene.

Lastly,

If you're a girl, get into a lane that's got a young guy scanning your stuff. Then flirt and talk to him constantly through your purchase. Sometimes groceries slip through without getting scanned. Pretty much this kicks ass.

Oh man, I love grocery shopping.
