Title: Misconception
Length: One shot? drabble?
Pairing: Yoosu
Genre: idk fluff but not really?
Disclaimer: dont know em, none of its real (i dont think )

Summary: When Junsu stands up for what he believes in (its just a lengthy narration of grammatical errors basically... idk was in a weird mood, felt like shipping a strong, silent Su)

Yoochun knows Taekwondo

Junsu knows Taekwondo too

Yoochun had practised for 6 years from elementary school

Junsu kept it up till the 8th grade

Yoochun was the older, stronger hyung

Junsu was the one that held him during storms

Yoochun was far more intelligent

Junsu was the one who helped him make sense of every single issue he had struggled with since leaving the shores of America

Yoochun engrossed himself in music, immersing his very being into his compositions and lyrics

Junsu popped his head in occasionally, humming a line here and there; totally annhilating the hours spent agonising over certain melodies only to find whatever Junsu had hummed slotted better into the compostion, flowing much more naturally

Yoochun conversed with talented artists with no difficulty. His own status as a legitimate artist firmly established within the industry now. Commended by members and peers alike and catapulted to beyond a mere 'idol' .

Junsu opened his mouth, sang 3 lines and blogs the very next day were filled with admiration and awe.

Yoochun had wanted nothing more than this life since his very memory of having a dream.

Junsu slowly but surely took the place of his dream with every knowing smile.
His uncanny ability to present himself just when Yoochun needed a human touch took away the innate hunger for money and fame.
Replacing the need for recognition and success with the need for just his acceptance.

Junsu was childish, bratty, too naive and easily swayed. His opinions were never his own, swaying with the more popular thoughts until the members deemed it as his personality. 'Junsu was as flimsy as his opinions... thats just the way it was'.

SM decided to conquer more of asia with DBSK'S new found poplularity.
Divide and conquer was the general idea.
Popularity was analysed
Statistics combed through with a fine tooth comb

The group was informed
Yoochun was paired with Jaejoong

Junsu uttered his very first 'No' within the confines of SM entertainment. Since his first timid entrance within the building till this point everything had been met with eager acceptance by the boy.

Lee Sooman had planned a great many things for the easily motivated child.
The plans threatened for a while with the onset of puberty
But jiggled back into place with the emergence of the crystal clear voice.

With the discovery of the steel will Junsu possesed, the members all revised their previous opinion.

It was said management bent to the will of the fans.
By the group's unity
their dedication to each other
Changing the decision and keeping the boys together

Nobody realised,
They were far too young and helpless to have voiced their desire for the groups continued existence.
Each member given replacement dreams by those in charge.

Junsu's 'No' stubbornly uttered left no room for the fear of losing his dream.
For the possibility of a bleak future, minus music.
For all his struggles to date to have been in vain.
Despite numerous threats to every fragile thing the boy held dear. His insecurities used against him by those who knew only to well what havock could be wreaked.

It was his 'No'

The others; inspired by the boys wild abandon, mirrored his 'no' with determination.

In interviews that followed, it was said SM revised their plan due to the groups joint wish to stay together.
fans deemed it was due to each member living up to their characteristics;
Leader Yunho- strong and determined, the groups shelter
The magnae Changmin- standing behind his 'hyungs' unwilling to leave the  protection afforded by this make believe family.
Junsu - dutiful innocent member, standing behind the united front, happy to be reassured of the older members presence, content to flow with the groups decision, letting the 'hyungs' sort everything out.

Yoochun and Jaejoong must have obviously stuck by the members and whatever descision had been made, was made with their support.

Later, in the privacy of their shared bedroom Yoochun cornered Junsu to question his 'No'

Junsu's smile answered absolutely nothing

Yoochun slept with the knowledge of Junsu's 'No' always being there for him though.

Years passed and new levels of success reached. The group steadily climbed to dizzying heights achieveing more than their wildest dreams.

Another dispute rocked their world.
Tired, weary and over worked they once again took a stand. Seperated by individual reasons but united in their dedication to each other.

Yoochun cornered Junsu once more to question the boys sudden stubborn refusal of their packed schedule.
They had weathered through worse really...
Why now? they had all thought of this step, at various stages but never gone through with it.
The love for this dream overtaking every difficulty, allowing them to over look their tired, beaten bodies.

Junsu's smile once again answered nothing but the tender finger that he swiped gently across Yoochun's chapped lips reiterated every unspoken vow made by the boy.
The back of his hand placed against Yoochun's forehead to check his temperature gave him an inkling.
The kiss that lingered on his cheek confirmed everything Yoochun had known deep down anyway.

Junsu had uttered his second no after Yoochun passed out backstage for 2 minutes after a harrowing dance performance with flu ravaging his body.

With his hands safely enconsced in Junsu's warm ones Yoochun knew that 'No' would always be there, ready whenever he needed it the most.

Junsu didnt really have many things he valued enough to stand by his opinion. Yoochun felt the warmth settle in the pit of his stomach at the realisation of Junsu's 'No' and all it meant.
