Thunderstorms and Father Figures
On and of thunderstorms since this morning. I woke up to thunder and pounding rain actually, I love this weather, but from inside, best with a good movie and someone to cuddle with. Alas, I am not cuddling, and I am watching Fight Club on Spike , which I actually just saw 2 days ago so I'm not exactly interested.
I can't participate in the Cardiovascular study, my blood pressure is too good... don't think I ever thought I'd be upset about that. I was actually looking forward to seeing my heart via ultrasound.
I came back and really did nothing with the rest of my day, why am I so damn good at that? Actually, wait, I applied for a job. Watched a movie with Anthony and then went to dinner with Michele. We've been hanging out since, debating whether or not we'd actually go to 5th Quarter with the rest of the staff. The thunderstorms were really the deciding no factor. I'm not very good at being social I decided. Damn.
And now I feel like eating pizza even though I am in no way hungry.

Earlier today, as I was writing my father's father's day card, I realized that I am indeed my father's child. In every way. This scares me.
