Steve Carlson's cd "Spot on the Corner"
I just got this cd tonight and am in love. *Guh* I've seen Kane play, I have their cd's, finally heard Steve sing without Christian on the Acoustic CD on "Pinata Novia" and was amazed. So when I found out he had his own cd, I immediately went online and bought it. So in love with his voice. Christian's voice is like whiskey; smooth and stinging going down but makes you feel all warm and reckless inside. Steve's voice is raspy and soft, making you want to curl up with someone and make some magic.
*giggle* Somebody stop me, that was the most girly and silly review I've ever made, but I don't know how else to describe it. It's been too many years since I've tried to put my feelings/thoughts about music into understandable words.
And the fact that Jensen Ackles sings back up on one track gives me a little fangirl happy. *grin* His voice blends so well with Steve's it's hard to tell them apart, which creates this great echo effect.
K....I'm stopping now. Time for bed...tomorrow's Friday. One more week of work until the offices closes for a week for the holiday. Everyone told me that Dec. would be slow at the office, everyone's starting to close up shop for the holidays, BULL-FUCKING SHIT. I'm so damn busy it's not even funny. I can't wait to take a week off and to be able to sleep in and spend the day with my kid.
